The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You
At first glance, middle school student Rentarou Aijou seems like the very definition of bad luck: one hundred girls have already rejected him, and it certainly doesn't look like his streak of misfortune is going to end anytime soon. As his determination to find a girlfriend slowly but surely wanes, he decides to resort to what seems like his last resort: he visits a shrine and pours his heart out to the gods and goddesses, hoping to receive divine assistance in his search for a suitable—or any—life partner. As fate would have it, a deity happens to be present who wants to help the dejected boy. She promises him that in the near future, he will meet not just one, but a hundred soulmates.
